Ok,
I have the first video of a swing I have done since finishing my post elbow surgery rehab. I have been swinging since around February but it really hasn't been fully recovered until recently and I am now playing full rounds of golf again.
what ya guys think?

Ric,

Looks good. I'd suggest you put a down the line view up as well. Looks like you have a little hip stall, chase move with the right side almost trying to catch up late in the DS going on, but that should be an easy fix. Keep the pivot moving and get a DTL view, so we can see the clubface a little better and what it's doing.

Looks like you stop pivoting around the 3/4 backswing and lift yourself out of the ground hence the early unwind. Love the takeaway, though.

Tricky,

I like your action.

If you want picky stuff:

- you have an over swing; really narrow right arm at the top. It almost looks like your hands separate a wee bit?? This makes hitting irons (w/ the exception of RTJ) a little difficult as you'll generally cast when you put your hand back on the club.
-with the Casio, I can't tell the pacing of your swing. I like slomo, but I like seeing the real pace as well.
-Love the lagging club head takeaway! Nice. You might try and step on the left foot a little earlier in your back swing to stress the shaft. Think "Lagging takeaway" then "step" and "rotate." That might tidy up the small lift move.
-If you are happy with you game, disregard all the points above:)

I am hitting my irons really well at the moment, hitting ball and then ground about an inch to 1 1/2 inches past ball. I see the lose grip at the top. I guess I get away with it because Brian has me getting as open and left as I can on the downswing (NHA) to get me closer to a 0 path as I was going in to out 5*. I will toy with the Idea of stressing the shaft a little with an earlier step with the left foot to see what I get.
thanks.
Ric

BTW
what is RTJ?
I'm a little slow these days.

Robert Tyre Jones.

An early unwind - I just saw some upper body unwind right after the lift. Of course not knowing at all what you are working on.
