Putting planes

I have been trying to rid myself of the yips and think I have come across something. Using Stockton's method of having the left hand lead has really helped get the right out of it. Putting last night it really felt good when I had the angle of the putter on the same angle as my left forearm. It was more "up" and held up very well. Are there other planes that you should be aware of in your putting and setup?

Best putting instruction I eve received:

Manzella "Keep the butt end of the putter pointed at your belt buckle through out the stroke"

Forget about flat wrists, push stroke, shoulders only, take the hands out of it etc.

Look at the pros, look where their grips point.

You get a nice natural release, the ball hugs the grass and the ball hunts the hole.

bcoak,

Can you post some video or at least describe your set up in detail?
Also, when you say yips, are they accuracy yips, distance/acceleration yips, blackout/heart rate issues, or some other description?

All distances?

I will try and get some video this weekend. Yip is a complete flip of the right hand at all distances.

What is the right way to hit the ball putting. Using your hands, arms, shoulders, body? I thought the shafts should lean forward so how do you use mid body with a forward shaft????
