Putting using RFP takeaway

Does anybody use there right forearm to start there putting stroke? Ive had a problem with my putting stroke, where I start the stroke and the clubhead goes slightly to the outside of plane. I have started the stroke with both hands or arms. This has caused me to be inconsitent with my putting. Well today on the practice green I was having the same problem, so i tried starting the stroke with my right forum (which I just started using for my full swing recently) and the clubhead stayed on plane. This felt like a revelation for putting stroke. I'll see how it holds up on the course tomorrow. Anybody else use the right forearm to to control there putting stroke?

I started a "hitting" putts a couple months ago using a right forearm takeaway and pp#3 to monitor the stroke. I had a lesson from Brian and at the end of the lesson he looked at my putting stroke. I asked him to show me how to hit puts since I seemed more inclined to hit my shots. He showed me how to do a right forearm takeaway and to hit through the ball on the foreswing. Seems much more natural to me and has improved my line and lowered my putts per round a couple of shots.[8D]

I have been using right hand/forearm for about 15 years. I originally started using this method because the greens at my club were very slow and I kept coming up short. On my forward stroke I push my palm at the hole (or my target). This method feels very natural and it's very accurate inside of 10 feet. When I putt on real fast greens I usually switch to left hand/arm.

I concentrate on swinging my right hand straight back and through, no rotation of the hand/arm. The clubhead swings on an inside arc due to the angle of the shaft. I do not try to swing the clubhead on a straight path. It feels very natural and it's very effective and easy to do.

I follow the same procedure as Biffer. I take the club back with my right arm. I monitor club head position with the first joint of my right hand index finger then and hit through the ball with the heel of my right hand keeping my right wrist bent.
This procedure puts a nice roll on the ball and is very accurate.

One of my main keys is to setup with my palm facing parallel to the putter face. I also place my forefinger in-line with the clubshaft.
I do the same type of push action as jpvegas1.
