Putting

Help....I continue to really struggle and am not sure which stroke methodology to go with. Over the years I've gone back and forth between swinging and hitting my putts. I really want to putt with a swinging motion because that's the way I play the rest of my shots (2 handicap), but can never get consistency from day to day. Hitting produces a better roll, but I'm still unclear on grip, setup and backstroke. What should I do? (when is Brian's putting video coming out??)

I think there are quite a few of waiting for Brian's Putting Video. Don't know when it will be out, but I hope soon. It's winter here and putting is about all there is to work on. I believe Brian's putting video will be a HUGE hit.

"Hitting" putts?

As best as you can, could you describe this further mclare?

From my limited TGM understanding, there are two primary patterns for putting just like full swings. The hitting putting pattern is primarily a right arm motion.

I'm hoping Brian's putting video will produce clarity around putting patterns and mechanics!!

The "hit" putting stroke is probably the only form of "true TGM hitting" that can actually "happen."

I'll add that you could probably chip and pitch but as the pivot gets more involved there will be pulling even if you don't feel it.
