I downloaded the video to my PC, transferred the video from my PC into itunes (video folder) and then synced my ipad and it was in!

If you can check email on your ipad just email it to yourself. Then hit the arrow at the bottom and just save to computer.

This is the way I went. I always try to get everything into itunes first, then I can add/remove it to everything else with a sync.

The easiest way is if you can open an email account on your ipad then just email it to that account. Open it up from the ipad and just save it to videos. If it is a weird format that iOS doesn't read than if you have VLC as an app you will have no problems. I hate going through Itunes for everything.

My link for AS2 has expired, but it should work the same as this AS1 example...

I right click on "MP4" to get the above drop down list.

Then click on "Download Linked File As..."

I usually save it to my Desktop (it's temporary and easy to find).

Open iTunes.

Click on "File", then "Add to Library".

Just click on the file you downloaded to your desktop, and click "Open".

It should get saved right to your Movies library in iTunes.

Once it's in iTunes, you can wipe it from you Desktop.

To get it into iTunes open the "Movies" folder in iTunes then drag the video file in Finder and drop it into iTunes.

If you don't have a good way to convert the file, you can download Handbrake to you laptop/desktop and convert it to mp4 then just drag and drop into video library of itunes.
