The longest on either PGA tour:

He won in Qatar this year. Averages 314.2 off the tee. In comparison, Bubba is averaging 310.4 on the USPGA where they play in better conditions than the EPGA, a point Alvaro himself makes in the following video (which includes an iron swing):

What do you guys think of his move? This guy is loading the hell out of the club with his dynamite pivot! Money quote from a link that discusses some Trackman-gathered info:
Alvaro produces incredible club head speed. With a driver, he’s around 120 mph! That’s very much comparable to a Tiger - or a Wild Thing. And his ball speed with a driver was between 175 and 180 mph! That’s very impressive. Definitely Tiger territory. We worked with his irons as well. We seem to be working quite a bit with him this year, trying to get his irons right. Getting a shaft stiff enough for him, is quite tricky. He was hitting his two-iron into this 30 mph wind, with a 240-yard carry! Absolutely astonishing. I’ve never seen any player hit anywhere near that, apart from Tiger Woods. He’s seriously impressive, is Alvaro.

Great swing...thanks for posting that! I'm going to the Spanish Open next week, and I will definitely make a point of it to see Quirós while I am there!

Wow, he smokes it. I'd never seen him swing before. I think he's puts an awesome move on the ball. It seems like a swing I'd benefit from watching as Alvaro and I are about the same height and weight.

Unrelated to the swing, that hat is fly and he seems like a cool dude. He also looks like Sacha Baron Cohen. Great success!

When are peeps gonna realize tiger is not as long as they think. Phil was hitting 25 yards past him at augusta. sheesh.

Wow - check out the twistaway!! He does it in a very different part of the backswing than Brian teaches it in NSA, but there's no doubt that he "adds twist" in the backswing.

Look at :40 of the slo-mo - his left wrist is very bent. But from there to :42 he flattens it out dramatically.

It also looks to me as if that flattening of the wrist happens in a way that is connected to the plane shift that he makes as he starts down.

Very cool swing.

The leading driver on the Nationwide tour is 316.5 yards,Won Joon Lee
Not a PGA Tour. Plus they play in better conditions in fairways that are likely better kempt. Additionally, after looking up some information on Lee, I see that he is a Harmon student. Therefore, there's probably nothing that interesting about it if Butch has had his way with him.

PGA Tour or not he has a longer driver dictance than either the PGA or EuroPga. I doubt that the Nationwide tour courses are that much better than what the Euros play on(Dubai,Valderamma etc..) Not sure I buy the course condition argument. Are american plyers better putters than Euros because we have nicer greens?

Just pointing out that this guy hits it farther on average.

When are "other people" going to realize that Tiger Woods still has the fastest swing speed on the PGA tour; yes even faster than Bubba or J.B. AND Phil. Phil hits it further because Tiger isn't as optimzed as Phil or Bubba or J.B. and that's reality.

Tiger hits a very low launching driver shot and often times with too much spin because he likes the work the ball a lot.

I have no doubt the power hitters of yester days would be power hitters of today; a great example of two guys who are always long whether it is old persimmon stuff or new titanium stuff are Freddy Couples and Davis Love III

I don't see a ton of lag either. Also, if you go to the second video and back and forth it during the startup of Quiros's iron swing, you'll see a clear step on the right foot. There doesn't seem to be any pop out in his driver swing--do you guys agree?

another casual observation I'd like to add (apologies for constantly diverting your thread lia) is this Quiros guy's swing looks more like the old Tiger swing (~2000) than the new one. Hmm...I'd leave to you guys to draw any conclusions (if any).

The Nationwide Tour is a PGA Tour.

I like this guys action...very soft drawish to me as well. Also, I have noticed a lot of the long drive guys have a soft draw type move. The Mobley guy especially...just sayin'
