Range Ball vs. Pro V1

Assuming same impact dynamics, what do you feel would be the distance variation from a decent quality range ball vs a Pro V1 with a Driver? 7 Iron?

Can't tell. There is to much difference in range balls. Range owners can buy any compression to controll length but also high quality balls could be bought to act as range balls.

Quite a bit . . .

in my experience. I tried out drivers on a radar machine (pure launch or something like that). They had some srixon range balls. I wasn't getting good numbers, so I had them get me some better balls. They brought me some proV1's (not the 1x's either). The spin went WAY down (probably 1,500 - 2000) and I think I gained almost 15-20 yards of carry. So, for whatever that is worth . . .

PureLaunch doesn't measure spin but calculate it.
