For the many people who may be wondering, are concerned, or have already asked, myself, my wife Lisa, and our puppy daughter Bailey, are staying at home and riding out the probable cat2 Hurricane named Isaac.

We may lose power at some point, so I may not be able to answer this thread at some point.

The mayor did not call for an evacuation, and everyone I know is staying.

Nonetheless, as a community and individually, we need some luck and certainly as many prayers as possible.

I'll update this thread as needed and when I can.

Thanks,

Brian

Keep us updated for sure. I am sure in that part of the world after Katrina these things take on a whole new meaning.
I know after the tornado took out part of the place I grew up I pay way more attention when they have warnings.

Good Luck. Prayers already said.

Best of luck to you and your family. But, I also hope you have a contingency plan/row boat/fresh water stored up stairs/stock pile of non-perishable food for at least a week...ready just in case.

So far so good.

Storm is still in the Gulf and we are all boarded and shuttered up.

Right now in New Orleans....medium wind, no more than 25, sometimes laying down to 10.

No rain yet.
