I was hoping that Bmanz or one of the illustrious GTE certified instructors could answer something that has been on my mind.
throughout the course of my golfing life I have noticed that when my contact goes bad it seems that on video my right elbow gets a little behind me and on the downswing it doesn't quite get back in front of the rib cage.
I have never been told anything about this by an instructor as to whether it matters or why it happens and how to fix it, but it seems like a constant symptom of poor contact. it could be nothing but I would like to know.
I have watched tons of video of professionals and to a one they all have that elbow in front of the ribs or belly on the downswing.
any input would be appreciated.
