Right Elbow?

His right elbow does not drop below his left elbow on the downswing. Too steep or don't worry about it. Good player with good power but a little inconsistent. When playing bad the feeling is right shoulder out and over and tighter grip in right hand to start downswing.

Does he ever get back under it? Whats the miss? Impact shallow?

He does get back somewhat under it but with a lot of effort. Seems to flip at it, loses his angle early. Can miss it both ways depending what he does with hands. Probably left more often. Works hard to stay down but must straighten up a little to make room. It is shallow.

Then id say its a problem that needs fixing if he tries to get back under it late.
