Right foot

I've had a problem for years with my right foot coming off the ground too much and too early. I'm sure this is hurting my consistency. I've recently viewed swings of some pros and some have there's firmly planted very close to impact or even at impact. What do you think is causing this and any good ideas to keep it down.

THanks!

Usually a case of shoulders "round-housing." You need axis tilt and this won't happen. Remember to keep your tailbone ahead of your neckbone through impact.

I usually give people the drill of trying to hit 3/4" wedge shots without letting your right foot come off the ground and hit it relatively straight or slight draw. This forces you to stay in your tilt.

It should feel like you're hitting your chin with your right shoulder through the ball.

Sounds good Jim. I will work on that. Thanks for the response
