Right forearm address confusion (with Brian Manzella Video Answer)

I have purchased all of the videos, read hundreds of posts, and watched almost all of the free videos and I am confused about the alignment of the right forearm at address. In "Building Blocks" you demonstrate the right forearm in line with the shaft, but in other posts I see you like mid body hands with the right forearm not aligned. I realize there are different setups for everyone and that you customize things for each golfer, but I am trying to understand the best setup for me. What is the difference between the two setups? How would I identify which one to use?

Secondly, how does this relate to setting up in an impact type position vs. mid body hands? I feel like I can setup with my right forearm aligned with the club in either position. How do I choose which one?

In my swing I feel like I am much more accurate and that I have better lag with the right forearm aligned with the club shaft and mid body hands, but I don't want to in grain this if it is not the preferred method or if it is costing me something (in terms of potential) in order to do it.

I love all of your videos and this forum, but I am confused on some of these issues. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Brian.

At the end you mentioned different shots....

I watched a show on Seve once.....he said he uses lower hands when his ball is sitting in a little hole.

Thought it was one of the best little tips I've seen on TGC.....I use it a fair amount....and it works. Lets you use the heel to dig down and get the ball out of the hole. On some shots this is the only way you can get it out. (kind of like why they make certain fairway woods with a real rounded sole....lets u get down deep and into the holes)

Just watched Faxon give two guys a lesson on TGC....(Personal Lessons With A Pro)....

He said: "The Golfing Machine wants you to have your right forearm on plane with the shaft."
