In swinging, the right forearm is supposed to fan in the backswing. Is it possible to over fan the right forearm and when should the right forearm stop fanning in the backswing. Would'nt fanning the right forearm open the clubface ?
If using standard wrist action, enough to put the left palm to the plane (1/4 turn). I don't think about the right at all, i focus on left forearm since the left hand is more related to clubface.

I haven't seen much discussion on right forearm fanning before this thread, but I tried it at the range and it proved to be a good swing thought for putting both the right arm and left arm on plane.
As long as there in no pulling to where the hands cross the center line of the body too early. Maintain the pressure points in the hands (slight pushing together) and both arms will rotate and stay in alignment.
Sorry...Right Forearm Fanning is Internal and External rotation at the shoulder. such as how a seal would "clap"...NOT Pronation and Supination of the Forearm...Right Forearm Pickup is Elbow Flexion and Shoulder Flexion like "warchant at FSU or a Braves game"...Standard Wrist Action is "The rotation of the Hands left palm to the plane right hand palm up to the plane"...like using your hand as a "flathead screwdriver" for righty tighty lefty loosy"...
