I think the term is related to the fact that the forearm is on plane at address and for at least a portion of the take away.
 
It's the feeling that the foreman is doing all the work (muscular) as well as being on plane. Once you feel this you will be happy :). I was first able to feel this (right forearm takeaway) by using a weighted club. For me this has kept other components of the swing free and relaxed to do there job.

Shot a 73 over the weekend!! Never have shot par, oh so damn close. Thanks to all for the good advice and lessons here on this site, it has helped tons. Also thanks to Denny in Mesa, AZ.
