Right hand feel

Brian,

I have been working on hitting baby draws and fades since my lesson. I have noticed that I feel a draw more in the #3PP and a fade more in the right thumb - is this correct, could I be developing some other bad habit?

Thanks.

Can you say a bit more about feeling a fade in the right thumb?

I think that if you are using the Manzell 'neutral' grip, then you can work the ball off of the position of the back of your left hand. With a draw you roll the hand over just slightly (horizontal hinging but with the clubface closing just slightly earl); with a fade you do a bit of angled hinging, holding the face slightly open. I understand what you mean about feeling the draw in PP#3 - I feel this too. Although I think I 'feel' a fade more in the left hand as I hold the face slightly open through impact.

Very specifically, I feel a more pressure in the terminal digit of my right thumb (I play right handed). I have thinking about this and wondering if perhaps on a fade, if I am lagging the hossel more than the sweet spot?
