hi Brian, and others...

first off i wish all a happy and safe holidays...
i was asking this morning to a couple of buddys about my worst (of many) faults...

right knee straightening out at backswing..i use a right forearm takeaway and all but this has been deeply ingrained and plagues my swing forever...tends to advantage an overswing look.

another bud said brian says its ok, but ideally, i want to get rid of it...
thank you.

You need to rebend it at transition or on the downswing for it not to be a fault. I used straighten my right knee, sometimes almost completely on the BS. However, I could rarely return the bend. Thus I abandoned it and went with maintaining the knee flex. Redgoat's site has an excellent demonstration of an ideal backswing pivot. http://redgoat.smugmug.com/

guys, i do rebend it at transition, it just happens...the hands do not seem to control my pivot fully, they seem seem to control the upper body...lets just say im working my way down...so much BS ingrained for so long, deeply rooted...now Yoda you have spoken here or elesewhere about anchors and such, and i know Brian has his ideas on this subject? come on man, how bout santas help a guy out? i'll shooot out my kneecap if it helps....(any math for this one? just kidding!)

i aint snead...he had success because of it or despite it?
