RIGHT SHOULDER ON FORWARD SWING

I have been playing with several off season swing thoughts, more or less playing around. I have been trying to get the right shoulder on plain, and to get it to what seems on plain too me it feels incredibly steep and in turn seems to lower my right hand considerably through impact due to the more bend in the right arm. Would this lowering of the right shoulder be accurate . Hope this is not a stupid question but to get the right shoulder on plain is a different feeling than I am use to , I must be much flatter with it than I thought

Hi:

Used to be an article by Ron Gring on southerngolf.com. They are revamping their site so the article is no longer available. Gring is an AI, I believe. He described a slomo drill whereby one maintains the distance between the hands and right shoulder until release point, whereby the right arm then extends for the throwout action.

Hi:

Found a paraphrase of the article by Fl-John on The Golfing Machine forum. Search under Gring and the topic ShoulderMotion/Feel.

Hi:

Have not read any opinions of Leslie King on this forum. He states that the shoulders should remain turned as the left arm and hand swing independently from the left shoulder or else an outside in path will result. http://www.golfpro-online.com/tuition/lking/eleven.html. The independent left arm swinging causes the hip slide according to King. Pros I see on TV look like their arms and upper body rotate and move at the same time on the downswing.

Forever,

What you're seeing with the pros is the hands and right shoulder moving together. They're thrusting the right shoulder downplane.

Great video, that clears up what I use to think of as haveing a high right shoulder through impact. The shoulder is on plain but stays higher at the start, any more of yoda's video's, TIM
