Ryder Cup Chances?

Is anyone else feeling uneasy about the U.S. team's chances at the Ryder Cup? Just glancing at the lineups, I sure do!

It has been very close for a long time. I think USA gets the edge at home. Plus the USA has the Presidents Cup for extra experience.

I picked the US to win b/c I thought Keegan and Webb would be awesome in the Ryder Cup and that was before they even secured
a spot on the team. US by 1 pt.

Last one came down to a chipping contest! They just show more putting. Seve's 3 wood from the fairway bunker, Couples' flare, Calc's shank, Faldo's wedge, Leonard's putt, Mickelson's flare, Overton's boom baby holeout, etc.

I don't have too much of a routing interest for one team or the other. Although, I do like more personalities on the Euro team. What I do enjoy watching is how they all handle this different style of pressure. Someone will wind up folding and someone will wind up being a rock star. That part's good tv.

Weird, huh? The flag waving aspect of this event just never struck a cord with me. Only a quarter of our team is from the SEC which does seem quite silly for a winning roster. Add Dimarco, Villegas, Holmes, and Cauley... then we'd have a team.

I vote for "over picking" for the USA only and the day before the matches start we'll just cut the guys who aren't playing well.

the american team is looking great to me. Deepest team in a long time and a great deal of the americans are playing some of their best golf of the year right now should be a fun one to watch, Europe obviously is gonna be a strong team, I like the way DLIII is carrying himself kinda similar to zinger has a certain bit of I know were gonna do this attitude imo
