agree, ground forces are something I have surfed, but I have not fully understood. This fall I have made an effort to keep the right foot planted as long as posible (like Kenny Perry) in the effort of swinging thru the ball (with a BMans SD point finish). The draw came back!
That brings a good point about looking into the squat in the downswing.......

Also recently I saw something on Richie3Jacks blog about ground forces. Good topic.

I think the ground is a component of the swing that has been glossed over almost to the point of comedy. It's weird because so many ballstrikers of note have really dynamic interactions with the ground. Some people love to drool over Hogan's trigger delay but pay no mind to what his legs did. Imagine the Hawk trying to crank a drive in a pair of wet Crocs.

I would also love to see some of the data from different tour players who have used one. Or, maybe a compare and contrast of two similarly sized players with a large gap in driving distance (Sadlowski vs. any tour pro). I'll have to look around.
