Has anyone used or read up about a company that produces the same length golf clubs? I saw this web site (SwingManGolf) and it was quite interesting. I know it is really thinking "out-of-the-box", but just thought I'd mention it to raise some comments.

Not a new concept. Tommy Armour Golf once had a set of irons named "EQL" and I believe that they were all the same length of the "6" iron. Never caught the golfing public's fancy. Don't recall any of the club specs however.

The concept of same-length clubs is one that has always interested me. I've read the arguments for same-length clubs and they're fairly convincing. In the past, I've played my wedges at the same length and found it pretty comfortable.

The idea of same-length clubs seems pretty solid, but I doubt they'll ever catch on. Even if the case for them is based on common sense, the idea is too radical for a golfing public that initially gawked at things like 460cc drivers and 5-iron hybrids.

I designed a set 6-SW for a golf club company over a year ago and do to the economy they have decided not to release them yet. They are perfect for the weekend golfer.

They did not get the head weight correct and the irons did not feel good at all.

There's a german company called MTM (Made to Measure). They've created an overlength set of golf club designed to ease pressures on the back during the golf swing. The clubs are not all the same length as each other, but fairly close. They did a presentation up here a few months ago, and it was interesting. A lot of science behind the theory, just not a lot of result data yet...

I've been playing a single-length set of irons from 1 Iron Golf for the past five years and will never go back to conventional golf clubs again. I bought them through their website and was very impressed by their customer service and the extremely high quality of their irons.
