Sand play, type of hinge action

Not too often is there an opportunity to work on sand play. Most ranges and golf courses within a short drive have none or removed their practice bunkers and nowhere can I conveniently dial in this part of the game. Typically, it's a live seminar while playing. On recommendation from another site, I have had some success with vertical hinging employing a reverse roll action. Seems to work fine for shorter shots. Longer shots, 30-60 feet,,,well, looking for help.

While perusing shots of Paula Creamer, it's fairly obvious this is not a reverse roll procedure. Should there be left roll for the longer bunker shots?

Any of you good folks have a few tips, key swing thoughts to give a try? Maybe a link to one of Brian's tips?

thanks in advance...

have you seen brian's "over and out" short game video which includes bunker play?

you should. Brian is probably the best bunker player i've ever seen. we all have our "expertise" in teaching. Me, it's putting. I went to brian and he didn't change a thing.

When Brian went to Ben, Ben didn't mess with his sand play.

ALL HINGES (including horizontal) have their place in the bunker game.
