I have worked on both swings and I wonder if anyone had an opinion on whether one pattern is longer than the other. I found that my SD irons went further than NSA irons. I seemed to have a better release with SD although my control felt better with more of a NSA pattern.
A while back Brian talked about a more "up the left arm" impact which occurs with SD as opposed to a NSA swing which has more forward lean and more force against the shaft. I can't remember what his thoughts were. I believe his discussion was in the context of what Ben Doyle taught him initially and what he has learned subsequent to that time.
