Shameless Plug for Damon Lucas

For those of you that live in the DC/MD/VA area (or even PA and DE), don't hesitate to call up Damon and schedule a lesson.

I've had several lessons from Damon for about a year or two (2 lessons in the last few weeks, in fact).

He recently took a position at the Lake Presidential Golf Course in Upper Marlboro, MD. It's a brand new course and it's gorgeous. The practice facility is first rate and I know when Brian visits this summer, he will be impressed.

Damon is a terrific instructor (and a hell of a good ball striker). Like Brian, he doesn't need the camera to teach, but he'll tape the lessons and send portions to you. He has a really nifty casio camera that does a great job with the slow motion playback.

Damon committed to improving your total game and everything he is adamant about getting the student to shoot lower scores. He does focus on solid ball striking, but he is also after developing a consistent swing (or ball striking ability).

I think the lessons are certainly money well spent. Give him a call. You will get better.

I rarely post, but saw this thread and just had to respond. I've had several lessons with Damon over the last fews years including two within the last few weeks at his new diggs - Lake Presidential. Damon is a great instructor - knows the swing, able to communicate, and very patient. He's also a hella good ballstriker in his own right.

Any DC area members would do well to go see Damon.

BTW, Lake Presidential is a fabulous track with an outstanding practice facility. Can't believe its a public course!
