I've done this quite a bit myself when I chip in my house. It drives my wife crazy when I squirt one over towards where she's sitting on the couch. The weird thing is it has never happens on the course.

You need to learn to do the Manzella Drill #4237...

Circles make no adjustment to straight lines.

Hit little chips, straight down a line, but finish with the clubface pointing straight AT THE GROUND!

Not sure I did exactly as you stated above to finish straight at the
ground, but, I must have been close.
The way I did "at the ground" was to start with the club head back or
you could say hands forward then hit down. ??If I am making my self clear.

Brian,

When we are hitting thin or shanking the shot on chipping, is that because of the body swaying too, in the sense of swifting too much of the low centre of balance to the front (in front of the ball)?
In chipping
Do we use our wrist (not meaning scoop) but instead bent right N arched left. or rather then getting ready for the above at the setup. but if we are setting up like the above at address, we won't be able to feel the hands and instead we can only use our shoulder to feel the distance. Any feel motion like chipping and putting, is always easier to feel the distance with hands rather then shuolder.
