What swing adjustments need to be made for people with short arms? I know PI has said that he has short arms.
I do not have wide shoulders, or a big upper body. Everything else is average size except for my arms.
I looked at many swing sequences of pros and measured the distance from the right elbow to the right hip at the top of the swing. The longer the arms are, the higher the hands can be while still maintaining the proximity between the right elbow and right hip. But my arms are short and I have noticed that I can't get my hands as high as most people or else I lose that right elbow/right hip connection at the top. I have noticed that I get a flying right elbow at times at the top. I have tried to flatten out my swing (getting the left arm to cross the left shoulder at the top) but it feels cramped and tight. Can someone help?
