Shot shape and clubface alignment

For those of you who have a predominant shot shape, do you set up with the clubface square, or do you set up with it aligned otherwise?

I set my club up square to slightly open for a fade or a straight shot. Slightly closed for a draw.

What is your natural shot shape, Leek? That's more the direction that I was going with that question. I'm assuming it's fairly straight, or a slight fade?

(BTW, you goin to the big game?)

Standard shot WAS a draw, with a square face. Now it's a fade, with a pretty square face. I say pretty square, because visually I see square as the leading edge sitting perpendicular to the target line. It has been proven to me that square is actually with the toe even with the heel. This looks closed to me, and the way I set up to draw now.

For a fade, I arch my left wrist and swing down the wall to left of the wall.

Not going to the game. I think I can play here Saturday- ok it will be in the 40s, but I'd rather play than go.

I'm spoiled. I get all the OSU tix I want...so it's no big deal to me.

Especially after the losses by both last week. ce la vie'!

I use a Manzella customized NHA swing for slight fades so I set up with mid body hands and a square clubface to the back of the ball.

I'll be different.

3 barrel swing:
Square club face, square stance, and a tiny draw.

Homemade 4 barrel pattern:
(5-SW) Square face, square stance, straight ball flight. (D-4I) Closed face (or twistaway), square stance, draw.
