SHOULDER TURN

The TGM primarily discusses shoulder turn as it relates to the RIGHT SHOULDER.
Many teachers, usually non-TGM teachers talk about the shoulder turn relating to the LEFT SHOULDER. Do you see any harm in this, or is relating to the left shoulder, just another way of describing or feeling the same thing as turning the right shoulder?

7-15... seems to indicate that Hip Action initiates the Shoulder Turn--"in either Direction." What is your understanding of this...especially as it relates to the BACKSWING?

10-15-A: The HIPS pull the shoulders back and through
10-15-B: The shoulders pull the hips on the backswing and the HIPS pull the shoulders on the downswing

I have students that do both. I can, and have done both.
