had a lesson with video and it was very apparent that my weight is shifting outside my left leg very early on the down swing causing push/pulls. I have been trying to get in the squat/sit down position but can't seem to get it right. ANy drills suggestions on how to practive this move?

I like to spread my legs well outside my shoulders, as an exaggeration, and being aware of a bend in my knees being maintained the same until near the top where I increase this bend, maintaining the increase until the last minute. You will come up probably later than normal but come up you will or you will stick your club in the ground, which is also a good thing to feel as an exaggeration. Then go back to your normal stance and try to recapture these moves. I feel like I am laying an egg, but, of course, I'm not really.

One of the last times that Sam Sneed was on the Golf channel, he said the sit down move was feeling the weight moving to both heels as he started down.

To UNWIND well, you need to use the ground to push DOWN on to create speed and thrust.

The BEST way to do this is from the sit-down 'position', very simialr to going DOWN before UP for a rebound.

But...like Homer said....YOUR HANDS ARE NOT EDUCATED UNLESS THEY DICTATE TO THE PIVOT................;)
