I am finally starting to swing a little better after what feels like 8 different combination swings all year. I have noticed that at impact my left wrist is flat but I look a little like RETIEF at impat and beyond with a slightly bent left arm . Any tips to help this TIM

Get you r LEFT shoulder as far away from your hands as possible at impact...

...or, get your right shoulder further down plane....

keep extensor action too.

It's assumed in TGM that the swing center is the left shoulder, except for the variation where the swing center is shifted to the right elbow. However, there are other alternatives, such as what Goosen does. He shifts the swing center to approximately the space between the clavicle joints, below the adam's apple. This is why his left arm is so severely bent, and does NOT require a flat left wrist through the impact interval. Note, that Goosen is still a swinger. Homer notes that the flat left wrist imperative is relaxed somewhat for hitters, but with the swing center moved away from the left shoulder, it can also be relaxed for swinging.

My limited understanding is that the left shoulder is a reference for "Low Point".Does the Swing Center and Low Point have any relationship. Thank you for your help..

Hope this is right , what your saying is that the left shoulder should not pass the ball and that if it does the left arm breaks down , I agree with brian that my left shoulder could get a little farther from my hands at impact, TIM

TYORKE1,

I'm not saying that. Assuming your swing center IS the left shoulder, the left shoulder should pass the ball before impact, even with the driver, assuming you play the ball off your left armpit, or further right, and without the left arm breaking down.
