Smooth transition by twisting the right foot into the ground in a clockwise directi

In the April edition of Golf Magazine Brian describes the key key to a smooth and powerful transition from backswing to downswing: "The trick is to push off your right foot by twisting it into the ground in a clock-wise direction, getting your right heel closer to the target than your toes. There isn't a power hitter alive who doesn't crank his right foot in transition. You should feel like you're an NFL running back, moving laterally from right to left, and juking a defender out of his cleats." Can someone comment on this move as it seems that the right foot twists into the ground in a counter-clockwise direction with the toes closer to the target than the heels.

It's all about coming out of transition with dual external hip rotation.

The simple version is LEAVING your right leg there a bit longer and "peeling" the left hip away.
