What do you do when somebody's got plenty of Lag, Snap Release, but TOO MUCH ARCH in the Left Wrist? Ball flight too low . . .

That is a great one, my remedy for this has been to either use a long club (60") or have them choke down to a point where the shaft rests against the left wrist, this way it hurts to arch through impact. With the long club ive taught them to release at the ball until the shafthits their sid, then carry it to follow through. Another drill is to teach them to snap a towel at the ball, if they blow by it (which they usually will with the arched left wrist condition, they will gat a whoosh but no snap. We don't run into this one much, so these are just a couple fairly effective things I've tried

Right forearm tracing through impact + allowing the palm to "come back at ya."

Like reaching in a big tub of marbles and scooping them from right to left.

You've got to be kidding! [:0]

Have you actually seen someone like this?! Is it you? I would recommend signing up for Tour Qualifying asap.
MJ is right on about ball placement...under the left shoulder.
Post your swing. I'd love to see Too Much Arch.

Move the ball forward.
Conversely,if you have a less talented player with not enough lag, snap release and too little arch in the left wrist, you would need the ball further back.

I play with the ball in the middle of my stance[xx(]

Not eye said the blind man. I'm not archie. It's somebody else. . . . I thought Mr. K said a little arch was insurance against throwing it away. But you could over do it?

Honestly, have you ever seen anyone with this issue? It just doesn't happen.
Anyone ever hear what Nick Price said about this? He tried to turn the back
of his left hand to the GROUND through the impact interval. He was shocked to
see the video of how it really looked (flat). That's when he was on the top of
the heap.

For those starting out, they must learn how to hit with a Flat/slightly Arched Left Wrist using a Sweep Release.

You'd be surprised at how many players that employ a Snap Release but still have a Bent Left Wrist at Impact.

If you can arch it with a Sweep, then it is likely that you can arch it with a Snap.

I just want to know the cause of that Arched Left wrist in relation to rundmc's question. Is that arched left wrist is an action or a motion? Sound like it, if that has plenty of lag in it, I guess it must be physics over Geometry. IMO Too MUCH Arch is a problem....
But, I think if that is an motion (Geometrical issue) then the ball flight will be to the right and could be quite low. So as MJ was saying moving the ball position would be an excellent idea to try with.

Just guessing...
