So I broke down and bought a training gizmo...

I'm kinda ashamed to admit it, but I broke down and bought one of those doo-hickey things that make you hit the ball from the inside. I don't want to advertise it or anything so I won't mention product names, etc.

As I have gone through the NSA 2.0 program, a lot of my game did improve. In fact I shot my lowest score in my short career soon after using it. Maybe most importantly, NSA taught me certain feelings, and motions (especially with face control) that were fairly foreign to me.

To the point, I still have a habit of coming over the top. It's not for fear of slicing. I appear to be one of those rare individuals that is trying to accomplish a "2 plane" type of swing (if you believe in such titles) with a dominant shoulder move.

So when things get wonky for me, especially when I'm driving the ball hard, guess what's the first thing to go in my swing?

I did try making an inside swing tool that you put on the ground. The weather has been terrible here (where hasn't it?) and cardboard deteriorates in wet conditions pretty fast.

Anyway I bought one of these things, they really aren't too expensive. But I'm wondering if such a device has actually helped any Brian Manzella members? Is it something you still use once in a while?

You should be able use it like Brian does the flagstick in NSA....shouldn't you?

Look up the towel plane board... if you haven't already tried it...

Yea, I plan on using it like Brian used the flag stick in NSA. I'm hoping this will put some finishing touches on my swing changes.
