Soft Draw and Low Ball Flight

I am using the Soft Draw pattern, and overall the results are great. However, I am hitting about 1/2 of my shots with very low ball flight (mostly with the longer clubs, but sometimes with the shorter ones). I would say the low ones are half of my regular ball height. So my question is what could I be doing to cause low ball flight, and what specific adjustments can I make to get a nice trajectory? My shots are mostly straight or drawing slightly.

Off the tee I've been low also. That's why I had to adjust what I was doing. Aimed less right and opened my stance. Swung back more upright and made sure my hands were really high, trying to make sure not to be laid off. Result was much better ballflight. Less hooks and more distance.

I went through that...

the first few rounds since try the SD pattern. However, today, something clicked and I started hitting some really pretty shots with nice trajectory and good distance.

I was hitting the driver a bit low for a few holes but even the trajectory came back on that one.

I honestly don't know what changed. I just keep watching the video and trying to implement it.

Have you focused on ending swing at finish with hands high and club low down your back?

I have found SD causes me to hit a high draw....?

Low Ball and the Soft Draw Pattern

Sam Snead's swing was very much a Soft Draw type until the finish. He hit it pretty low as well.

If you aim a bit right, and take it inside, you are essentially hitting a slight pull draw.

A pull will often go lower that a non-pull.

One of the reasons that SS was "very long" into the wind. The pull draw works pretty well for Goosen also.
