soft draw back swing questions

When using this pattern, is the position, at the top, rather upright? It feels that way to me. I have taken 50-100 vids of my swing in recent months and on my downswing it seems that I the shaft is always very vertical. Could that be because of the upright nature of the top of swing position?

That should be the answer.

I am no expert on the SDP since I have had it for only a month, but trying to adapt to it on the range does give me a sense of a more upright motion. I can feel my hands more under and supporting the shaft. Not sure if this is how it is suppose to feel.
