Kinematics
Kinematics is the study of classical mechanics which describes the motion of points, bodies and systems of bodies without consideration of the causes of motion.

Kinetics

In physics and engineering, kinetics is a term for the branch of classical mechanics that is concerned with the relationship between the motion of bodies and its causes, namely forces and torques.

Seriously, this definition is good enough for Dr. Nesbit and it is good enough for me.

But, I have NO PROBLEM putting my own names on them....

Here goes.....

FORCES AND TORQUES

MEASURABLE MOVEMENTS

The point isn't WHAT TO CALL IT, the point is what it is.

There are FORCES AND TORQUES that the club experiences and there are MOVEMENTS that the body does while appling those forces and torques.

Period.

The fact you can't see a force or a torque on a Phantom camera is very scary for some folks.

Like I said, I have used these terms with Dr. Nesbit and he had no problem with them.

I stand by all of my posts on this subject.

I care more about what the club experiences than any ARBITRARY POSITIONS that are supposed to make a golf swing better.

Why?

The club doesn't know.

All the club knows is the hub (hand) path, the force along that path, and the torque about it.
