Stupid question: What kind of ball is that?

In Manzella's YouTube video re: adjustments for hitting driver, he hits what looks like a ball in the beginning of the video. Sounds just like a ball off of a titanium-face driver....but then, the thing seems to fly like 10-15 yards.

Is that some type of illusion, am I going crazy, or is that some type of practice ball?

I'd love to have a practice ball like that to hit in my small backyard....

well I must admit when I saw SD it kinda out freaked me out as well because you can not see the net in the background

Believe it or not, I was completely sober when I watched the video...haven't smoked anything for years as a matter of fact.

No matter how many times I watch the clip, at 1:35 when Manzella hits it, I still can't see the net. That ball flies all the way to the cartpath....I just thought it was one of those "Almost golf" practice balls that fly like, 10 yards or something.

Oh well....Thanks anyway.

It's the quality of the YouTube clip. Brian uses that location in his retail videos and you can definitely see the net for those.
