Hi!
There is a video of Villegas on golfdigest.com. I like his swing very much because it shows power.
Here is the link

The analyse of Leadbetter:
Pure athleticism is what I see when I look at this flashy dresser who packed on the muscle in college and continues to tone his powerful body. His swing screams strength and flexibility. Camilo makes a huge turn around a steady head but keeps his arm swing short and maintains a big gap between his knees at the top. His restricted hip turn allows a tight coiling action, which he sustains well into the downswing. These moves set up a last-second burst of speed on the approach. His left leg straightens as he fully releases the club through the ball. Camilo has great width throughout his swing, which is exhibited through impact and into the finish. Full arm extension and a slight reverse-C body position display his suppleness.

He can bust it. Nice mullet too. Did any of y'all see the swing vision they did of him last week. Kostas was amazed by "how long he held his angles deep into the follow through." They acted like he was trying to do something special with the shot. Hey Pete here's $.25 buy a clue.

This is a lot of x-factor stuff, the same stuff that sent JWN to hip surgery.

If you do it and it works, like it does for Camillo, go ahead.

BUT, the reason it works for his is the SUPERIOR upper body move he has on the backswing.

Exact thing I have been working on!!

Saw the shots, thought...that is what I want at the top...then heard you comment on superior position.

It all fits!!

Really gets his right side through WHAT?

It's a figure of speech:
(When we don't know exactly what we are talking about, we can always rely on the good old 'figure of speech' thing)

He doesn't run out of right arm.
Keeps the club in front of him.
Good pivot stroke.
Doesn't swing his arms independent of his pivot.
Doesn't get stuck.
Most importantly, he didn't miss the ball. :)

Brian: Can you go into what you mean by "SUPERIOR upper body move" ?

I'm guessing it's the change of direction. like a base ball player hwere he has his bat towards the sky then on the downswing it becomes flatter. If you try to swing a flat swing with a flat backswing the power is limited. Whereas if you have a more steeper backswing than flatten it out, it would create tremendous power. i don't know it's just my guess because i was messing around with different types of swing.
