Miller combined his Right Forearm Pickup with a very late Fanning Motion (at the Top instead of the preferred immediately during Start Up). As performed by Miller, this unusal procedure is highly effective. In fact, Larry Nelson told me one time that Miller Barber was one of the few players whose Ball Striking he studied any time he could.
We're talking 'pure' here.
