Swing Plane

I just read in Golf Digest that the Pros keep their swing on one plane back and thru. Is there more than one swing plane or should the club travel back and thru on the same path?

There is SEVERAL way that can work, but the majority of pros make an ANGLE change.

When I take the club back connected to the left breast and try to return it to the same spot, it does not happen. I am always outside the ball in stead of right at it.You would think that a continuous left arm connection would return the ball to the same position.
