Swing The ClubHEAD?

Is swinging the clubHEAD and monitoring the clubFACE really such a bad thing for everyone in our Post-D-Plane Era?

(The D-Plane Literacy Era)

"Put the clubFACE on the ball." -unknown, and self-mastery (R.I.P.?)

Clubhead arc and positioning is the most important thing for me birdie...everything else I do is based around that....I basically rely (train) on my body to fit to the clubhead....
But that's just me.....:D

Another well known saying "Swing the clubhead in a circle, with your hands"

I focus primarily on clubface

Its my minimalist takeaway from Brian's advice in NSA where he talks about the reason for slices and hooks. I imagine there are some great golfers that have great hands wrt clubface control. Me, I'm just clamping down my lower index finger to achieve better feel of the clubface angle.

How is "swinging the grip" better?

break 80

swing he clubhead= ernest jones

swing the grip...or handle = eddie merrins

break 80= brian manzella and/or his staff of instructors

manz instruction tends to lean towas clubhead, no? (thinking about statments about pivot, lag etc)

How is one supposed to develop clubface control with thinking about the grip/handle?

was only

i was only saying who i thought was known for each

as for the answer to your question.......brian will easily answer it

Control the CLUBFACE with your left wrist.
Control the CLUBHEAD with lag pressure point #3 (right index finger)
Control the CLUBSHAFT by tracing the straight-line base line of the incline plane

is using the left wrist to learn how to control the clubface the only way to do it successfully?
