Swing up to get right shoulder down?

I'm still fighting the lefts but recently ive started feeling like I swing up and through the ball much more with my right hand - almost like a weight shift followed by a swing up and through - rather than around to the left

What ive noticed is that when I do this I get much better axis tilt, my right shoulder goes down and I get better compression. I think I was afraid to do this previously as I had gotten the idea that I had to hit down on the ball with my right hand to compress it and was this causing me to go left all the time

If I do this with an angled hinge and steeper takeaway path I seem to be able to just swing up and through really easily without any need or thought about forearm rotation or squaring the clubhead. I *feel* like ive got a swing that looks like Monty's used to with a nice gentle fade

Is this a good thing? A valid pattern? Or a band aid for a pull hook?

I have the same questions. If I have alot of axis tilt I find it difficult to get back to the ball and get a good downward strike. If I swing out my right I get good compression but my right shoulder tends to go out and around.
