Swinging tension free

Not sure how Brian feels about this but I like the freedom of only feeling the club but trying not to feel my hands and arms. Especially when making the downswing transition, its like my backswing and downswing are blurred and my hands and arms are just along for the ride. Its not dead hands but more of a feeling of the club being the only thing that matters as a sensation.
Really great way to play golf and ball striking is phenomenal.
The relaxation goes all the way through the body and into the ground

Completely agree.

That's one reason why I like a Lagging Clubhead Takeaway.

You have to start with noodle arms and it carries on throughout the swing.

I wanna feel like the club is almost floating in my hands.

If I could play that way, I would. But I lag the hosel every time

That happens to me if i forget to hold my wrist hinge at the start of downswing. I feel a little "click" as i go to the top of by backswing at my right wrist. Once i feel that and i start my downswing, i kinda squeeze my left wrist hinge so i keep it when i swing down and through.

So basically, you are losing your wrist hinge at the start of your downswing in my honest opinion (casting?).

Bear in mind, i am no expert.

I like the feeling of throwing from the top, so everything after my takeaway is a blur.

Would you consider it throwing the club head, handle or arms?

If i throw the clubhead from the top, i can't ever hit my 3 iron consistently straight and far.

I think that throwing the clubhead results in throwaway and inconsistent shots. I DOUBLE karate chop down plane and maintain my wedges. You have to have EDUCATED hands to make this procedure work.

Gongfu: (Hard work) knowing one thing so well that you can do anything with it.

Golfers Gongfu: (Hard work) understanding plane, path and impact so well that you can produce any shot with those 3 elements.

Totally agree - tension free

I totally agree. I practice all my golf swing stuff on the range and the when my round comes I don't play "golf swing" anymore I just play golf. My only swing thought is impact. The only way for me to score low is to play like I don't care and just "let it go". It's funny to me that the less I think the better I play. I'm starting to realize why Boo Weekly is getting better as a player..haha. Then again, I'm sure the best BM players on here rely on a stock pattern and can execute plane shifts, etc. to pull off different shots. I'm definitely not there yet.

For some, maybe, but definately not me. Noodle arms gives me too much lag in the transition. I need to feel a little more solid at the top with a twistaway rather than overly free.

FLAPro- I think you are describing a sensation I feel that I call beginning the downswing before my arms, hands and shoulders complete the backswing. I think Brian calls it hovering. It seems to duplicate what a QB or pitcher does when they throw a ball. It seems to be a major key for me in ballstriking. It also seems to make things happen so fast I can't flip, scoop or any other bad hand/arm movement.

Is there such a thing as too much lag?? I strive to get all the lag i can get..Maintaining the flw will naturally limit the lag anyway..What happens to you when you get too much lag..:)

Ben Doyle, when asked this question replied.......... "can you have too much love?"

Nuff said.

I'm with doubled. When I get my arms in the correct hanging down position, insides pointing out, elbows pointing at hips, I have an element of athletic tension, not noodley, sort of al dente.

I then leave the hands alone and just get the right sequence, hips, shoulder, arms then hands, the hands do nothing until about hlf wy down, when the right hand takes over.

So I need some tension, not much, but some
