Switching from hitting to swinging

I am having a difficult time making the transition from a more shut-faced hitting stroke to a swinging stroke where the clubface gets flat against the plane. the feel is that the clubface is wiiiiiide open, I feel a cupping of the left wrist where formally it was a shut twistaway feel.
anybody have good advice on making the switch?

RFT tracing the plane line. Keep the right wrist bent-Maintain the golfers flail. The right shoulder works down and the left hand goes down and out in a Karate chop motion.

One arm swings with a wedge...make crisp contact and shallow divots with a slight draw to them.

Focus on:

-turning to the plane
-cocking up the plane
-coming back down the plane
-rolling to impact
-rolling back to the plane
-cocking up the plane again

Watch Brian's video short on swinging vs hitting and watch his hands for swinging and just copy it with the wedge
