A good way he described it to me was this. (paraphrasing) "I now teach like I did when I was a beginning assistant, except now I just know more". In other words, you can cut to the chase real quick if you know the right order.

How did that change and at what time did that change?

I thought this was interesting and deserved even a quick explaination.
