Learning how to putt, chip, and pitch.

Ballstriking is fleeting! I can score the same with any ... swing.

1) Learning impact so well that I have the ability to hit almost any shot.
2) Realizing that golf is a waste of time. I will never play as well as Ochoa or Woods
3) Learning that impact isn't a static position.
4) And all the other crap- FLW, tracing a straight plane line, learning an effective pivot, axis tilt, driving my right shoulder down plane...
5) Detuning my swing for increased accuracy

does anyone have any ''a-ha" thoughts that just seemed to click with you in fixing a problem or keying in on a swing thought or idea? would like to hear the problem, and then what was the remedy that just 'worked' for you.

Crush the coke-can with the left foot - standing hard on the left foot showed me what a proper downswing pivot was and allowed me to stop flipping

In general, finding Mr. Manzella on you tube was a "a-ha" moment

I may not be as experienced as most of you but a few things that have transformed my former flipper swing:

1. the holy grail: hit down on the ball. Trap it, pinch it etc. That one action completely changed the way I thought about the swing. Until watching Brian never really understood the concept.

2. Also, weight to the left side and right shoulder towards the ball and left away from it was a big help.

3. with the driver: head and hands behind the ball and don't ground the club has improved the accuracy of my drives.

I don't know where I picked it up but the " 9 to 3 drill " is a great learning aid.
