I'm willing to "bunk" (share lodging costs) with anyone (non-smoking) attending the Atlanta event. For those who are flying in will ahre rental car too......let me know.

Still hammering out the details, Ray, but here's what we've got so far:

Holiday Inn Express will be our no-frills Workshop Hotel. Great place, and they've given us a $79.95 package price for a normal $99-$109 room. Fit as many in as you want, but remember...

There are only two beds!

The price includes a Continental Breakfast -- and a bit more -- but there's a Cracker Barrel Restaurant a short pitch from the front door for those who want something more substantial. We'll have eight a.m. shuttles to ferry us all to Woodmont each day.

Regarding Atlanta Harsfield-Jackson Airport ground transportation to Canton, we'll be coordinating arriving students with Top Gun Limousine for the approximately one hour ride. Again, prices will be significantly discounted. We'll need to know everybody's arrival times to do our best work here. Otherwise, it's rental car or taxi ($75) time.

I don't know if its worthwhile compared to the cost of the limo but a 3 day rental car can be had at ATLanta airport for 18.95 per day via hotwire.com

The lodging arrangemets sound good

I'll be arriving on Thurs at around 8pm and departing sunday same time

Ray

I'm arriving Thursday around 9:30 PM and have made arrangements for a rental car. If anybody else is arriving around that time and would like a ride, let me know. I'll be leaving Sunday late, my flight goes out at about 10:00 PM. :)

I'd be interested in catching a ride (or sharing the cost) of your rental car. Are you intersted in rooming together? Sounds like we won't be spending much time in the room anyway.

I'd also be interested in sharing a room and/or ground transportation. Any other attendees interested?
Very much looking forward to this experience!!!

Once everyone has their travel plans finalized we can attempt to arrange joint transportation and lodging for those who want it

Ray

Ok, I guess it's about time to start organise transportation and lodging. My flight arrives at North Terminal at 17:21.

Anyone up for sharing rooms?

I am arrivning Thursday at around 8pm and have John Hue as a tentative roomate (I'm waiting for his confirmation)

Departure is Sunday at around 8pm.

I may be nterested in catching a ride with someone

Thanks
Ray

I'm arriving 9:06 PM in Terminal S and have a rental car arranged. If anyone else is arriving late and needs a ride no problem. I'm not looking to share a room.

jpvegas,
Can you send me your cell phone number via e-mail rbaum0519@aol.com
so I can catch up with you at the airport for a ride to Holiday Inn. I get in at 8pm. My cell is 618-806-4488.

There is always the possiblity flights will be delayed/late for various reasons. I'm not familiar with ATL airport so I don't know what terminal I'm arrivng at - I figure we can meet at Baggage claim since we will all be "checking" clubs.

I'm already sharing a room with John Hue but I'm sure there are others who want to share a room.

Thanks
Ray

Homerson:

No problem. I arrive 9:06 at Delta from Little Rock and I'm renting from Hertz. Look for a Khaki colored Club Glove travel bag.
