Just thought I'd pass this on to fellow TGM followers in the UK....
As far as I'm aware there are currently only 2 TGM AIs in the UK - Ian Clark and Reeves Weedon. I met Ian and Reeves at a 1 day workshop run by Joe Daniels when he was over last month. Both Ian and Reeves are really good guys, both TGM knowledgable and helpful.
The workshop with Joe was excellent. I was the only amateur present so was the natural choice for Joe's teaching demonstrations. Fantastic, I got a lot from that day.
Following on from that I've just spent half a day with Reeves down at Hartsbourne Country Club in North London. Reeves was truly great. We worked on my geometry, which was off. Reeves quickly spotted the root cause, fixed it, and by the end I was swinging with good geometry and striking the ball great. I've come away with an easy to follow practise plan to work on, based on solid TGM.
I've had quite a lot of 'standard' instruction over the years, nothing that proved of benefit. This session with Reeves was different class.
So if any other UK TGMers are looking for somewhere to get hands-on instruction, I'd definitely recommend a trip to Hartsbourne.
Thanks Reeves, I'll certainly be back!
Mike
