I hit my first 300+ drive yesterday. Not bad for a skinny 5'9" 145lb "kid". I first started out with the twist-away from Brian's articles off of FGI. After using this my slice totally went away. Played with some friends yesterday and decided to try a new swing. I used float loading the entire round. I haven't golfed much the past few years but I used to hit around 280 max. Well I nailed one and that sucker took off straight down the fairway. Ended up around 305 give or take a few. By far the best drive of my entire life. Thanks again Brian, I'm really excited since this was the first time I ever tried float loading. If anyone is new to this site and is wondering what float loading is get Brian's Confessions of a Former Flipper. Well I can go on some more but my 7 month old is screaming. See ya.

That is GREAT!

Of course, I KNOW that the "Twistaway" works, but it always make me feel good when someone else knows too.

I once heard of a TGM teacher who said they NEVER taught a student float loading.

Now, Curtis has figured out that AFTER you fix the slice (or leakage hook) with the twistaway—then! some folks can add float loading!
