I'd like to acknowledge the folks that helped me get to this point...

My Dad knew they had to be real answers, told me I would be the best in the world at something, and was a world-class story teller, and treated everyone as equals except for his elders, who he treated with the utmost respect.

My Mom picked me up when I fell 197 times, is funny as hell, will talk to a rock and make the rock like it, and will cut you off at the knees if she is slighted.

The apple didn't fall very far....

The kids I grew up with were superior athletes who challenged me physically and mentally everyday of my life until I was a grown man.

My golf coach at SLU, Ken Kenelley didn't offer me a scholarship at the end of 1981. Setting in motion 999 things that happened because of it that would have never happened.

Frank Mackel, the one-eyed king of golf (he had 2 eyes-long story-search it), without him in my life, I "make it small" early, and would have had no chance to be typing this.

Dudley Geigerman Sr. & Jr., Jimmy Self Sr., Larry Griffin, and a cast of dozens at the City Park Driving Range. They made me into the teacher I am. Inadvertently, of course.

"Goo" Buras. He got me out of the club pro business in no time flat.

Michael Finney, made me the 4th Finney brother, introduced me to David Toms, Greg Lesher, Craig Perks, and Mike Heinen, all stone super talented golfer/students who help me learn what worked and what was total junk at the highest level. Mike also has been my biggest ally in the teaching biz for 20+ years.

David Toms, a more talented student few have ever had.

Tom Bartlett, at least as much talent as David, smarter than anyone except maybe Aaron Zick, a student and best pal who moved Project Manzella along with a power boost, literally, at many points since his first lesson in 1986.

Chris Hamburger, a great friend, student, and protege, part of the three musketeers with Finney and Bartlett, my roommate in Louisville, who proved to me that maximum trigger delay had to be flawed.

Nakia Davis and David Dorman, great friends and students who did everything I told them.

Ben Doyle. He taught me more about what I do for a living than anyone else by a mile. He taught me a lot more as well.

Brett Gahm and Howard Logan, the last two golfer I ever ruined—after getting them to a high level.

Lindsay Gahm, it only took me 20 years to find another David Toms. This time, I know what not to do.

Louisville, Kentucky. Thanks for adopting me. I leaned a lifetime of lessons in 10 years.

Different Strokes Golf Center, the first place that got out of my way, giving me the chance to show every other facility I had ever worked at that I was right all along.

Jim Kobylinski, who showed me it is duplicatable!

Mike Jacobs. You mean someone else had half a brain?

Damon Lucas, Kevin Sheilds, Jon Hardesty, Phil Rosenbuam, Ryan Smither. A better group of guys with inquiring open minds, nobody ever was so lucky to find.

Steve Khatib my roomy at all the seminars with and without Ben, and my little brother in arms. The only person I have to calm down at seminars.

Derek Sanders, who hired me at English Turn, and saved me 1234 flights in the next ten years, and literally handed me a great group of members to teach, and a new super talented good player—him.

All of my foes in the teaching business. You guys make me try way harder than I would.

All of you, the members of the best teaching website of all time. Which would be nothing without you.

My beautiful wife Lisa. I have accomplished more in the 10 years we have been together than in the 38 before. And all with a smile on my face.

Happy Thanksgiving folks.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Cavalry

Brian,

Thanks for dusting off my broom. It is said that greatness in sport is found when someone comes along who changes everything. No doubt, others and I believe the same regarding the Italian Stallion. You are a man in full.

Rick

PS

You have the best people behind you and the best people in front of you.

How about me(Horton) and mandrin who attempted but failed to extricate you from TGM with scientific logic, some 6-7 years ago ??? Maybe we started the cracks of doubt creeping in ... :D

I'm thankful for Brian and the rest of this site. It has been a wonderful addition to my golfing adventure.

Aren't the Patriots showing how much better they are than any team in the NFL.

Patriots : America's Team for the 21st Century

Except the Browns.

Bledsoe's injury was the friggin luckiest thing to ever happen to a franchise since Majkowski went down for the Packers.

Memories ....like the corners of my mind.......

Touche' mon ami Mr. Shields......I have tried to forget about that game......Now the turkey is really starting to upset my stomache!

The ONLY game that matters is the last one played for the season. You can go undefeated and still.........well that's another story! Ooouch! Bad Memories........

Once upon a time

Hey! What about the Vikings!!!!!!!!:)

As we say up here in New England, faaaarrgetaboutit! ( English translation: forget about it)

But what people in MN should be saying is "Favre-get about it" LOL

Many moons ago ( way back in the 70's ) I myself was a fan of the Purple People Eaters, when Fran the Man was QB. Too bad HGH wasn't around then for ol' #10.

Too many heartbreaks when they played against "Roger the Doger" and the "Boys from Dallas" back in those days.

It was only a matter of time for Brady. In pre-season that year Brady looked sharper playing with the second stringers than Bledsoe with the starters not an easy thing to do.
The best luck was Art Modell sending Belichick our way. The coach won 11 games with Cassel as QB a guy who have never started a game since high school!!!
