The Beauty of Golf

The game of golf to me means hope!
Ive been playing 2 years and the best i could spit out is an 85

There were times i thought i had it all figured out on the range hitting the ball like a pro. Only to rush to the club house to pay my green fee and hop in my cart and cussing the game by the 9th hole

Another night online watching videos and trying to find some magic move that will bring it all together for me. Watching the pros in slow motion and trying to feel what there feeling. These guys are average size like me and yet they hit the ball so pure! They must know something i don't !

Haha i think I've found it! It's 2am and past my bedtime but i just spotted something in my swing i haven't been doing. Rush outside into the night and take a few swings to see how it feels. Car starts to come down the road so i quickly drop my club and play it off as if taking the trash out lol
Don't want to look crazy outside at 2am swinging a golf club

Anyways i think i found what my swing was missing and ill be at the range once 5 o'clock get here! See you guys on tour!

Well said poker. I was wondering if I'm the only one who feels a bit silly when a car comes down the road. Good to know I have company.

It's a difficult game, but a beautiful one. No other sport, game, or hobby provides us the opportunities to know ourselves that golf does.

That's a huge leap! How in the world can you, or anyone for that matter, make that statement. Tell that to the Bass fishermen, deer hunters, or musicians, etc. etc.

I'm just pointing out the obvious.

My neighbors think I am a maniac...some of my best swing lab work comes under a streetlight well past midnight.

Someone once said...and I think it was their signature, that golf was a game of constantly finding it and losing it....truer words have never been spoken.

I think i found what my problem was guys!
Hit 20 balls at friends house tonight out in the country after reading an article and everything clicks for me!
I kind of feel like a fool for never realizing the thing i read!

Is it ok to to post articles on this site that are from another site? Im new here so not ure and dont want to break any rules. Just hope to help someone else who maybe had the same perception that i had about the swing in golf

I would challenge any bass fisherman, deer hunter, or musician, etc. to a friendly debate about whether or not golf offers more of a chance for introspection than their chosen form of expression.
